We were driving from central Virginia to Maine and needed a layover stop that took our dog Bunker. I booked online so I really didn't know what to expect. We found the hotel and grounds to be clean, quiet and attractive. Bunker loved the nature walk. The complimentary lobster Mac and cheese at dinner was spectacular, the bed was great and the hot breakfast a very nice surprise. We changed our return travel plans so we can stay here going home.

A perfect location-past the hustle and bustle of Albany. I liked the nature walk.

I've already booked again for two nights in October.

The grounds are well kept and beautifully landscaped, and pathways are lit at night. The beds are comfortable and you feel like you are floating on clouds with the puffy pillow topper and ample amount of pillows. The bed is soft so if you like harder mattresses, you may be disappointed. Our room had a fridge that we used and microwave, which we did not use. Amenities were okay, and my husband forgot his toothbrush so the staff brought one to our room after we called the front desk to find out where we could get one. Convenient parking, breakfast starting at 6:30 am, a clean and well-landscaped pool, and all the towels made the stay comfortable as well. The food is good, but the same as any other hotel buffet-style breakfast.
